CUTOUTS

Amanda makes her cut-outs utilizing large sheets of handmade paper, which incorporate an intense richness of color with interesting surface textures. She incises the paper with a razor blade, shades and outlines with black sumi ink, and creates shapes that dance across the paper. The resulting work presents a broad range of abstractions.
